Apartment La Tibolire is a stunning, award winning, fully equipped and spacious 2 bedroom apartment located just a 5 minute walk from the enchanting village of Sixt Fer à Cheval and surrounded by the majestic mountains and cascading waterfalls of the mountains of the Giffre valley, which includes the incredible Grand Massif ski area.
La Tibolire is perfect for holidays with your family or friends. It is furnished with all age groups in mind from cot and highchair, childrens’ DVDs, family games, PS3 and good WiFi, outdoor games such as Mölkky and Boules, to corkscrew and wine glasses! Enjoy peaceful evenings, maybe sharing a fondue and playing cards around the dining table together, or poring over maps and guidebooks to plan your next days adventure while listening to music and sipping wine. (The apartment)
The area is renowned for outdoor activities; these range from some hair-raising activities for the adrenalin junkies to gentle family strolls or days beside the lake and everything in between. Summer holidays can include BBQs on the terrace and challenging the family to a Mölkky competition, or, strolling down the hill to enjoy the atmosphere of one of Sixt Fer a Cheval’s unique picnic concerts in the garden of the 12th century abbey. Everyone at La Tibolire wants to make your holiday memorable and easy, Melissa & Mark, will be on hand to give you ideas and guidance, if you need them, on how to maximise your enjoyment of this special region. The free-range chickens may well gift you some delicious fresh eggs and in summer you may find you come home to a basket of some just-picked fruit and vegetables from the garden!
In winter skiing is the primary activity (downhill, cross country or ski touring) but for those that don’t enjoy skiing it could be snow-shoeing or even a dog sled ride. The nearest skiing is just 400m from the door or in just a few minutes in the car or on the bus you have access to the whole Grand Massif ski area. After all that activity you may not want to cook so a meal in one of the local restaurants, a take away pizza or having a meal delivered might be the way to charge your batteries for the next day of activity.
